I need an implant on one side of my mandible to correct asymmetry, the right side is smaller and shaped differently than the left. I also need braces, I don’t have severe dental issues, just a gap in the front teeth so overall want to straighten everything out. Personally I would rather have the jaw implant done first as I am a lot more self conscious about the crookedness, but medically would this be safe before braces? Or do braces need to be done first?
