Is there a mandibular angle implant for my needs? Want a little bit of each type of implant.

Question

I've been looking at Implantech mandibular angle implants. I understand the basic distinction is between more widening implants and those that offer more vertical lengthening. However, what if you want a little of both? Is there a basic jaw implant that gives you a little bit of each type of improvement?

The use of 'standard' preformed implants can work for many patients. However, it is more suitable and appropriate to 'carve/customize' an implant at the time of surgery. Gortex is ideal in that regard and can be modified to suit each goal including varying the 'right to left' sides. The ability to change the contours at the time of surgery gives the surgeon an ideal visualization of the overlying soft tissue. For example, when one takes CT scans to customize, the result is not really idealized since one does not know whether the overlying soft tissue will 'move' the same amount as the thickness/contour of the customized implant when done with this method. So the alteration at the time of surgery is more ideal
