I want hair transplanted to my chest, what grafts will I have to use?

My goal is a noticeably hairier chest. I still have a lot of my hair, but i am slowly balding (slowly, im currently on fin). So I might want to get a hair transplant in the future. I have a lot of leg hair, pubic hair, and armpit hair. Are any of these viable solutions, or would I have to use scalp hair? I also have a full beard pretty much, but I would like to use hair under my neck. Is what I am asking for feasible? Hair transplant to chest is not done often, and all the results online I seem to find use mostly scalp hair from back of head. i have a lot of donor hair on my head, but I don't know if I want to use scalp hair if I get a hair transplant in the future. Unless the chest hair can be used to fill. I am growing some chest hair from oral minoxidil but I am wondering about this surgery. I would just prefer to have a harier chest for aesthetic purposes.

For hair transplantation, beard, chest, pubic, and axillary hairs can be used; however, they are never the first choice and do not look as natural as normal scalp donor hair. Scalp donor hair should be prioritized. When body hair is used, scalp hairs should be used in a mix. Chest donor hair alone is not recommended for hair transplantation.

The most important consideration is that the characteristics of the donor hair matter just as much as the number of grafts available. Ideally, the transplanted hairs should resemble natural chest hair in thickness, curl, growth rate, and texture.

For that reason, I would generally rank potential donor sources as follows:

1. Beard Hair (especially under the jawline and neck)
This is often the best alternative to scalp hair for chest transplantation. Beard hair tends to be thicker and coarser, which can mimic the appearance of chest hair better than scalp hair. Many surgeons use beard grafts to increase density and create a more masculine chest appearance.

2. Scalp Hair
Scalp hair is the most commonly used donor source because it is abundant and easy to harvest. However, scalp hair often grows longer and may have a different texture than natural chest hair. Skilled surgeons can strategically place scalp grafts to create a natural appearance, but the result may require occasional trimming.

3. Body Hair (Legs, Armpits, Pubic Area)
These areas can sometimes be used, but they are generally considered secondary donor sources. The challenge is that body hair has different growth cycles, variable survival rates after transplantation, and may not provide enough density.
