I had a revison rhinoplasty in 2019 that went horribly wrong. I asked for minimal changes: a slight curve in my side profile, and a very slight refinement to my naturally long/pointy tip. The doctor instead did a complete overhaul of my nose. He narrowed/raised the bridge 2-3mm, and placed lateral and alar grafts at the lower half of my nose. As a result, my nose looks considerably larger/asymmetrical, and totally alien to my natural proportions. I still deal with unremitting, severe swelling. The biggest issue: the right lateral graft protrudes out and forward. When I press in on it, it sounds like there's a bunch of water inside (like a smacking, wet sound). What could the issue with this right lateral cartilage be? Also, what overall can be done to rectify this billowing, sausage-like look to the middle area of my nose? I don't want perfection, I just want to recognize myself in the mirror again.
