I suggest you see a cosmetic dermatologist for treatment.  You will need a combination of a few lasers (Vbeam and Clear+Brilliant with or without microneedling) to fix this as well as lightening creams.  Best, Dr. Emer.

After any chemical peel or laser treatment, it
is imperative to avoid prolonged sun exposure for two weeks at the very
least. Exposing your skin to the sun
while in the process of healing can result in hyperpigmentation, or even
scarring. Unfortunately, being around water or snow can actually be even worse,
being that UV radiation reflects up to 85-100% off of these surfaces!

Your pigment may have gotten even darker due
to the heavy sun exposure so soon after your peel. The fine lines/textural
issues you are describing are most likely not permanent, and may just be a
combination of severely dry skin post peeling, as well sun damage from your ski
trip. The fine lines should improve with adequate moisturizing, and time.

Depending on your specific skin concerns, it
is not uncommon to need more than one ViPeel treatment. It would be best to
follow-up with the esthetician who performed your ViPeel, or seek out the
second opinion of a board certified Dermatologist. A Dermatologist may have
more options such as laser available that may be better suited for your skin concerns.
