I have 16 attachments, several of which are on my front upper teeth. I would like to know if it would be problematic to bleach my teeth while wearing my aligners. Or will bleaching with attachments on create spots on my teeth? I have read mixed feedback from various professionals. However, that feedback is from several years ago. I would like to know what your current opinion is regarding bleaching teeth with attachments. Thank you!

That is very unusual--it is most likely a chemical burn on your gum tissues--sometimes this can lead to canker sores that last for 7-10 days and very painful--you can try OTC meds or see a dentist for more options--Dr John Merrill
