Loss of elasticity in neck after microneedling. Is this possible and why?

Used appropriately, microneedling should not cause this. I recommend following up with a cosmetic dermatologist after care and skin care recommendations. A combination approach is needed to get the most improvement with skin tightening for the neck. I recommend J Plasma, lasers (Fraxel, Clear + Brilliant, Co2), microneedling/prp, ultherapy and rf treatments to get the best outcomes. Microneedling should not cause skin laxity in fact, it should tighten your skin as the micro-injury stimulates collagen and elastin. We suggest you follow up with a plastic surgeon's office that has a skin care  aesthetics center. Please remember to use a physical sunblock to protect your skin.  Hope this helps and good luck.
