Short Answer: 8 weeks, but ultimately up to your surgeon. After rhinoplasty, there may be a lot of swelling of the upper lip, depending on the surgery. The swelling can rollercoaster up and down over the first few weeks. Also, one side of your lip may calm down before the other side. To enhance your lips, your injector is improving symmetry in addition to adding volume. If there is swelling, the injection becomes much more challenging, since the injector is trying to hit a moving target. While you're healing up from your rhinoplasty, you won't want to be showing off your lips anyway. If you hold off on the lip injection until you've fully recovered from your rhinoplasty, then you can maximize the time to show off both. You should have a follow-up appointment at 8 weeks with your surgeon. Plan on doing the lip injection at that appointment. A safe plan is the best plan.
