Lip injections / filler (Restylane). My lips don't look different

Last month I got 1 syringe of Restylane they didn't get to big so few days ago I got 1 more and the swelling went down real quick but my lips don't look different ! I don't know if it's the doctor or Restylane

If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. PDO Nova threads can also be used to improve shape and also provide lift. Fat or implants are a permanent alternative. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. It seems like your injector took a wise approach in starting slow with one syringe at a time in the lips. I will often advise starting with one syringe in the lips and adding more once the initial swelling goes down and we can evaluate the results. It's much easier to add more filler to achieve the desired results rather than dealing with being "overfilled." That being said, without knowing what your baseline was prior to injection and seeing before and after photos, it's hard to know if your lips really don't look different after two syringes. I would review your photos with your injector and discuss your concerns. Good luck!

It is difficult to tell without photos but you should notice a significant change after 2 syringes of filler. Take a look at before photos to compare and see your doctor and discuss the issue

Thank you for your question.  I'm sorry to hear that you are not noticing results after your lip filler injections.  2 syringes of Restylane should be sufficient to create a visible change in most patients' lips.  I would recommend following-up with your injector to discuss your concerns and to review your before and after photos.  If you are still not satisfied with your results, please consider seeing an experienced cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon for a second opinion.  Best of luck!
