Can Invisalign correct tilted molars?

Question

I had braces before, but I had a molar extracted around 5 years ago and didn't have it filled. Since then, the adjacent molar has tilted into the empty space and no longer makes contact with the top molar. Can Invisalign raise and rotate the molar?

The disadvantage of removing teeth and not closing the spaces is that adjacent teeth tend to tip/tilt and even over erupt into the spaces.Uprighting molars that have tipped into an extraction space is very difficult with Invisalign. The attachments are not rigid enough and the aligner force is too small to effectively upright molar teeth.You would need a sectional fixed brace for this.Invisalign is strong enough to upright molar teeth that are collapsing into the tongue space however, which would create space to alleviate dental crowding.
