4 weeks post op, I feel hard , tender, and painful 4 weeks. Is this normal?

Hi O,I believe you are having a slower recovery than the usual, but this could still all be normal.  Return to see your surgeon as soon as you can, and have the three "lumps" examined.  You can feel "squishy" for a while, which can be very normal.  Your symptoms could be from extra blood, but it would be very early for scar.  The firm feeling may just be that your tissue is still adapting to an implant of 425cc. So keep your surgeon in the loop and show him/her the catching in your shoulder also.  All the best, "Dr. Joe"

In short, your still swollen. It's normal to experience this 4 weeks out. Work closely with your doctor.cheers

Your recovery seems to be a little longer than most. See your plastic surgeon for an evaluation to mack sure you are healing well.

Thank you for your question.  By 4 weeks after breast augmentation I would expect you to be comfortable and not have the symptoms that you describe.  It is important for you to see your plastic surgeon for an examination and diagnosis.  Is important that you be examined and not rely on Internet advice.
