Hello. I am a 20 year old Asian girl who is 5'8, 130 lbs, and wear a 36 A cup. How many cc's do you think I should get to achieve the look of a DD cup? I have never been pregnant and have never breastfed. I did lose a lot of weight so the skin on my chest are flabby and not tight. I also have broad shoulders and a broad chest. Is it possible or are my desires for a DD cup too unrealistic? Thanks!
Answer: DD cup breast implants for a small Asian girl Thank you for your question. Based on your photographs you are an excellent candidate for breast augmentation. However I would urge you to be very careful about having the very large breast implants that would be required to make you a DD cup. As others have stated cup size depends on the specific bra manufacturers, that is a C cup at Macy's could be considered a DD cup at Victoria secret. Very large breast implants especially over 500 cc have an increased chances of complications which can ruin a good cosmetic breast augmentation result. Please consult at least 2 board certified plastic surgeons who are experienced at breast augmentation surgery and my recommendation would be that you follow their advice based on your body and breast measurements and not insist ongoing larger than a recommend. For more information on choosing breast implant size please read the following link:

CONTACT NOW Answer: Choosing size I use a technique called dimensional breast augmentation which involves taking in a number of factors and measurements, so each patient is unique. That being said, given your height, weight, and your activity level, along with the fact you are considering a lift, I would say you are probably not that far off in choosing an implant in that range. Best thing to do is to see a qualified plastic surgeon that has good breast expertise.

Answer: I am a 20 year old Asian girl who is 5'8 and 130 lbs, can I go from an 36A cup to a DD cup? Thank you for the question and pictures. Based on your photographs, you are starting at a great place and should have a very nice outcome with breast augmentation surgery. In regards to specific size/profile of breast implant, despite good intentions, online consultants will not be able to provide you with meaningful specific advice. Ultimately, in person consultation with well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons will be necessary. Careful measurements, dimensional planning, and careful communication will be key. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you're looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Again, have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining which operation and/or breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "DD cup" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. The use of computer imaging may be very helpful during this communication phase. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery. The use of temporary intraoperative sizers, viewing the patient's breasts in the upright and supine position, are very helpful during the breast implant selection process. I hope this, and the attached link (dedicated to larger breast patient outcomes), helps.

Answer: Breast Implant Size The size of the implants are based on a combination of a patient's goals and objectives and her anatomy. In order to provide a natural looking augmentation, the surgeon needs to evaluate many factors including soft tissue coverage, skin laxity, chest wall width, breast imprint width, the shape of the breasts and relative level of constriction to ensure that the breast implants are appropriate for your body. Consult in person with 3 experienced and expert board certified plastic surgeons to understand your options.

Answer: A cup to DD cup after breast augmentation It depends on how you define DD. Some of these women may wear DD bras, but it would depend upon the brand of bra.Extra large breast implants are never a great idea, but on a women with your frame, the results will look very unnautral. There will be a higher incidence of reoperation and bottoming out. You should look at many, many before and after images to find a plastic surgeon who shares your esthetic ideal.
