3 weeks post op of Breast augmentation. Is it normal that my breast are still hard, uncomfortable and sensitive? (photos)

When implants are first inserted, they sit high up because your tissues are tight and gravity hasn't taken effect. Over time, natural tissue expansion occurs to allow the implants to fall into place. By this time, your breasts will have taken on a more natural contour, where the lower breasts become softer and rounder. Please wait at least four months for this to happen. This process tends to occur sooner in one breast than the other, so don't be alarmed if you find that your left drops before the right or vice versa. It may take even longer since you are younger and mention that you have a small frame.

Implants placed under the muscle often appear somewhat high immediately after surgery. It may take several weeks and sometimes up to 4 months for the muscle to stretch and relax allowing the implant to settle more toward the bottom of the breast. It will be important to keep in close contact with your surgeon so that he or she can monitor your progress and provide reassurance. Good luck

View are very early in your recovery and your discomfort and the firmness of your implants is not unusual.However I recommend that you see your plastic surgeon for an examination and diagnosis.  It is too early to be concerned about capsular contraction.However it is important that you be able to lift your arms and begin doing breast implant displacement exercises.  In most cases the exercises and motion of the implant reduces your pain and help soften your breast.  Please see her plastic surgeon Sohn and get advice on breast implant displacement exercises and arm lifts.
