I had lower Bleph surgery in 2012 to remove fat pockets. In 2019 I had filler put under my eye due to hollowness. The next day I had two bumps under my eyes that the injector said was due to water. I went back to her twice and she kept telling me to massage under my eyes which helped temporarily but now fast forward three years later I still have bumps under my eyes. They are saying it's not from filler but before the filler I did not have bumps.what can I do now to get rid of the lumps?
Answer: If the lumps look like it did in 2019, then it is still the filler that was originally injected Hi, My guess is that the lumps that you have now is the same appearance as the lumps you immediately saw back in 2019. If the filler needs any massaging, the injector should be doing it and not leaving it to chance by telling the patient to massage it. Some patients massage too hard and displace the well placed filler, while other patients may be too afraid to massage and don't move the filler at all. The other possibility is that the filler injected into a location which prevents it from smoothing out using massage. Seek a second opinion with a facial plastic, occuloplastic or plastic surgeon who offers Hyaluronidase to dissolve the filler. This may reveal the hollows that you had prior to the lower blepharoplasty, but at least it isn't puffy anymore. From the hollowness, you can either leave it alone consider a different injector who does more lower eyelid filler (which means they have more experience with filling this area.) Surgeons who like to perform lower eyelid blepharoplasty will likely have more experience with surgery and may not be particularly interested in injecting fillers, since it isn't surgery. Hope you found this response helpful. Good luck. Best, Dr. Yang

Answer: Varying Concentrations & Combinations Of Anti-Inflammatory Agents & Hyaluronidase For Under Eye Lymphedema Under Eye Puffy Pillows, such as the kind seen in the photos related to and persisting following under eye filler injections typically occur if an inappropriate filler is injected in the location and/or if it is injected to superficially interfering with lymphatic drainage in the region. This can be a difficult problem to treat and typically requires several treatment sessions. However, I have been able to achieve gratifying results in patients who have come to me with this issue using varying concentrations and amounts of injectable anti-inflammatory agents often coupled with hyaluronidase (especially if an HA filler had been used there). Make sure to consult an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist and best of luck.

Answer: Under eye lumps from filler If the filler is hyaluronic acid such as Restylane family, Juvederm or Belotero it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase injections. Once done to your satisfaction you can consider PRP or PRF injections with microneedling for collagen stimulation for skin tightening or more intense skin tightening with radiofrequency devices of which there are many.

Answer: Filler under eyes after bleph - can this get rid of lumps? You need to find a doctor willing to inject those areas with HA dissolver. Fee in $500 ranges per session. May take 3-6 sessions about 2 weeks apart.

Answer: Under eye bags after filler and blepharoplasty--there's hope! Thank you for sharing your picture. These under eye bags can be easily treated with hyaluronidase and massaging. To avoid having this happen again you need to tighten the skin under the eyes. I recommend looking into radio frequency devices like Morpheus.
