I have a hair transplant coming up how many days should I stop smoking marijuana before my surgery I do not smoke any cigarettes just marijuana.Will this affect my transplant if I smoke 2 days before my transplant? someone help me thanks

Earlier you quit smoking the better it is for your health.  If you are looking for ways to smoke as long as possible before a surgery there is no set rule.

There are no formal studies on when you should stop, but a week is probably a safe amount of buffer time between smoking marijuana and getting a transplant. Keep in mind that smoking tobacco should be stopped even sooner.

İt is better to stop taking alcohol 3 days before surgery .Also I strongly recommend you not to smoke cigarette or marijuhana  10 days before and after surgery.

Hi, there is no known association or research regarding the use of marijuana and hair transplant. Smoking tobacco is not recommended as it can deprive nutrients in the area, contribute to oxidative stress and inflammation. Pot can be used with caution, you can just stop a week before and after but either way there is no known association. Good luck!

Before a hair transplant you might consider a couple of days stopping smoking pot of any cigarettes and maintain that for a good week after.
