Can a chemical peel be applied to the neck area? What can be done for this area?

Chemical peels can improve brown spots, dull complexion and mild creepiness on the neck. If the face is peeled, often it is important to also peel the neck so that everything blends. The neck does not have as many oil glands as the face so usually the peel to the neck is lighter to help with healing.

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Hi! Thank you for the question. Chemical Peels can be applied to the neck as well as other parts of the body. Since the skin on the neck is different than the skin on the face there will need to be some alterations made in order to do it on the neck but it is very beneficial. Besides chemical peels you can do Radio Frequency, Mironeedling, and other lasers.
