Question

I am scared that I have caused damage by pulling a stitch out of my nose 2 weeks post op. I was gently picking on the inside of my left nostril where there was lots of crusty dried blood when I noticed a small black stitch had come out with the dried blood. There was no pain but my nose is tingling a lot now. I had septoplasty, turbinectomy , grafts, and rhinosplasty. Thank you very much in advance for any answers!

After two weeks any stitches that come out may well be dissolving types and meant to fall out. Ask your operating surgeon just to be sure.

First recommendation is stop picking at the nose! Second is a question- Have you at least notified your surgeon about this???
