I am going to be getting a CO2 fractional laser procedure done for my face in the coming week. This is to improve my skin texture and build new collagen. However, I use topical minoxidil for androgenetic alopecia and have read that minoxidil can inhibit collagen production and worsen fine lines and wrinkles. Is it safe to use minoxidil while recovering from and after getting a CO2 laser treatment, or will it hinder any improvements by affecting collagen production?
