You have already jumped to and have been disappointed with the supposedly "next big thing" laser treatments you've already undergone. Before jumping to the next heavily marketed light therapy device, you might wish to consider simpler, less expensive, less glitzy treatments, such as a series of  peels with topical superficial peeling agents, such as high concentrations of glycolic or salicylic acid; Jessner's solution; or low concentrations of TCA, all of which have decades of safe and effective use under their belts, as opposed to lasers and other, so-called energy-based devices that have to date far more marketing and advertising hype to support their use, rather than hard science. Hello Hepburnn. If you are very pale as you describe, we would likely use the q-switched Nd:Yg laser. The 532 nm wavelength is good for getting rid of freckles. Might create a tiny little flaky or scabby area for 3-5 days after, but then should peel off. 1-2 visits is the expectation we set for our patients. Best of luck.

Thank you for your question! You could do a CO2 laser in the fall/winter to try and peel away that pigmentation. You could also do a series of medical grade peels such as the VIpeel which should also be done in the fall/winter. Also make sure you are wearing daily SPF 30+ to prevent getting any new freckles. Hope this helps!
