Should I be concerned about the lines after microdermabrasion and a peel? (photo)

I have just gotten my 4th treatment of microdermabrasion followed directly by a peel and until yesterday had not before seen such drastic lines all over my face until now. I’m worried they will scar and stay brown. What should I do?

Thank you for your question.You are very early in the healing process. Keep the area moist with Aquaphor or a good moisturizer. Make sure to avoid sun exposure, while these areas are still pink. Over time they should heal and not be noticeable, but sun exposure on them now will cause them to stay darker.

Looks like it might have been too much for the skin. Do not rub or scratch the skin to prevent hyper-pigmentation. We recommend seeing a dermatologist to see if they can recommend any topical ointments to apply on the area.
