Can you have Emsculpt Neo if you have Kyleena IUD?

Question

I was told I can only have MRI under certain conditions because of my Kyleena IUD . It is a plastic IUD but has a small silver ring on it. I want to get Emsculpt Neo on my stomach but don’t want to harm my IUD.

Since your IUD has metal, it is recommended to avoid treatments with EMSculpt. Should you change your IUD to one with no metal, then you can proceed.

Hi nic199008,The answer to your questions is No. Unfortunately, due to the fact that your IUD contains metal, you are not a candidate for this treatment. Once the IUD is removed, you can get EMSculpt NEO. My practice does offer other solutions to those whom do not qualify. If you are looking to loose weight or unwanted fat I do have some protocols that you will be interested in.
