My breast was squeezed very hard - should I be worried about tissue/implant damage? (Photo)

Question

Last week, my lover squeezed my right breast very hard. I have no bruises and it's not sore, but I've noticed that the lymph nodes (or ligaments?) on the right side of my breast are protruding more than on the left breast. This may have been the case all along, but I'm wondering if he could have done damage to my breast glands or tissues or even ruptured an implant (I should note that my silicone implants are 1.5 years old). I'm out of the country for two months so I can't see my surgeon.

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  Most likely you suffered a soft tissue bruise and swelling which should improve over a series of days.  If there is little improvement I would see your surgeon when you return to the states.  Hope this helps.

Hi VirginiaO, I understand your concern. Based on your photos, it does not appear that you have damaged your implants. However, it is still best that you visit your plastic surgeon when you get back for proper assessment. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

It is unlikely that the implant was damaged, but you should follow up with your surgeon when you return home. There are a number of factors to consider, including implant type, pocket location, and time since surgery. In general, it takes quite a bit of force to rupture an implant. You may have some soft tissue injury, but that usually heals within a week or two. Hope you feel better!

Hello,It sounds like you are okay. The most common thing that can happen is that you develop a hematoma around the implant if the breast receives too much pressure too early but it doesn't sound like that's the case.
