I am 62 years old. I'm 5'5" and weight 145. Waist is 31 and hips are 39. I eat a very healthy diet and I walk an hour everyday. About 5 years ago I started getting belly fat in my abdomen and back area by my bra strap. I had lipo 24 years ago in my abdomen and had a good result.

Yes, you can have lipo in the same area, but the amount of fat that can be recovered is variable, depending on the amount of fibrosis (scar tissue) that has occurred in the fat layer after the original procedure. Secondary lipo procedures are often more difficult due to this gritty, fibrous replacement of some of the fat, but it is often difficult to know how much will be encountered even on physical exam. You need to set your expectations moderately but most patients who undergo secondary lipo years later will still get improvement from that second procedure.
