I am 62 years old. I'm 5'5" and weight 145. Waist is 31 and hips are 39. I eat a very healthy diet and I walk an hour everyday. About 5 years ago I started getting belly fat in my abdomen and back area by my bra strap. I had lipo 24 years ago in my abdomen and had a good result.

Answer: Liposuction Revision--VASER HI DEF 4D Liposculpture Revision, ThermiRF, Fat grafting Yes, you can have liposuction again, if you're a candidate. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like a VASER liposuction revision. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermiRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Can I have another #liposuction procedure in the same area of my abdomen previously treated years ago? Yes, you can have lipo in the same area, but the amount of fat that can be recovered is variable, depending on the amount of fibrosis (scar tissue) that has occurred in the fat layer after the original procedure. Secondary lipo procedures are often more difficult due to this gritty, fibrous replacement of some of the fat, but it is often difficult to know how much will be encountered even on physical exam. You need to set your expectations moderately but most patients who undergo secondary lipo years later will still get improvement from that second procedure.

Answer: Your Yes you can have liposuction in the same area. The definitive correction for liposuction deformities requires the advanced technology of ultrasound assisted VASER liposuction. As an official trainer of VASER liposuction, I encounter suboptimal liposuction outcome referrals weekly. VASER liposuction has been the only modality that has consistently corrected liposuction caused deformities. VASER liposuction ensures a smooth contour regardless of severity of contour irregularities by virtue of being able to remove any and all remaining fat comprehensively and uniformly. Finally, when skin redundancy irregularities are observed, Renuvion technology can be simultaneously applied to tighten your skin to optimize your overall contour outcome. A Skype or Facetime consultation with a VASER specialist will help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee
