Will subcision and Radiesse filler last longer or even be permanent for my scar? (photos)

Subcision works by breaking up tethering scar collagen that pulls scars down and makes their shadows more visible and also by stimulating new native collagen and new elastic fiber synthesis, which makes the results long-lasting to permanent. Fillers, such as Radiesse, a semipermanent filler, is a calcium-based filler and thus subject to metabolic breakdown with time--hence the benefits of Radiesse alone will not be permanent. Combining a filler, such as Radiesse, or even an HA filler, with subcision will likely give a more lasting result, especially if several treatment sessions are performed. One treatment session is seldom enough.
