Can anything be done about permanent bruising/yellowing/thinning skin from Radiesse Cheek Fillers? (photo)

kcody926, I'm sorry that you had this experience. I do feel the discoloration is possibly hemosiderin pigment from a considerable bruise. This should at least improve possibly for several weeks or months. Though, PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injection may be an option for you to consider as platelets and plasma, as well as other proteins and stem cells in the PRP accelerate the healing of injuries to repair and rejuvenate the tissue. I would however recommend waiting at least 2 weeks for the filer to settle prior to PRP injections if this is something you choose to do. Radiesse is a good product for the cheeks and temples, but I do not inject the tear troughs, or into /near the lower lids except just where the lower most part of the lower lid contacts the cheek. Hope this helps.

I am sorry you had such an awful experience. Have a consultation with an experienced board certified injector. Radiesse should never ever be injected in the tear trough.
