The most common reason for the laxity in your neck is the loss of elastin in your skin due to age. There is not much sagging at the corners of your mouth. There are a few small marionette lines. Also, lifts do not treat wrinkles in the lower half of the neck. At some point, you can see if your doctor will offer a revision which is a policy common among surgeons.

​A combination of non-surgical options like Kybella, PDO NovaThreads, Ultherapy and Thermage would do well in combination for skin tightening for the neck. VASER Liposuction (with ThermiRF, Renuvion and InMode FaceTite) is a great alternative for contouring and tightening the chin and neck and can be combined with a neck lift at the same time, if you're a candidate. Thank you for sharing you photos and question. There appears to be only a small amount of excess skin. In general, you should expect some degree of recurrence excess skin over the first few months to one year as swelling resolves. Keep in mind that much of the accumulated sun damage has decreased skin elasticity. So, your skin is not as resilient as it once was. It is not possible to completely eliminate the excess skin. That being said, it looks like you have a very good result. I agree with continued treatments to improve collagen and elasticity, such as RF microneedling. If microneedling ineffective, you might consider one or two laser resurfacing treatments. A fractionated CO2 laser would be most effective, as long as your skin type makes allows for this treatment. Lastly, a very small percentage (maybe 1-2%) of all patients undergoing a facelift or neck lift will require secondary surgery, such as a revision facelift or revision neck lift. Although, based on your photos this does not appear to be the case. It would be most appropriate to stick to nonsurgical treatments for further improvement. I hope you find this information helpful.
