Hi! I’m 28 yo and since when I was 25 I observed that my cheeks dropped giving me a bulldog effect and a more rounded face (I already had it but my jawline and lower face were slimmer). Now my face it’s getting more and more round and I’m loosing volume on upper part and aging volume on lower part. Which types of procedure should I considerate to fix this?
Answer: How dermal fillers may benefit you Thank you for your question and for providing photos. Dermal fillers are an excellent choice for restoring lost volume and creating a rejuvenated, more youthful appearance. These injectable formulas contain hyaluronic acid, a substance that is already naturally found in our bodies. When administered into the skin, they can hydrate and volumize the targeted areas of the face to improve symmetry while redefining the facial shape. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified injector who can assess your concerns and create an individualized approach to help you achieve your cosmetic goals.

Answer: Facial Slimming — Masseter Botox, Facetite/Renuvion J Plasma, Buccal Fat Pad Removal, Fillers to sculpt the Cheek/Jawline/Chin This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry you need maxillofacial surgery or implants customized. I suggest seeing an expert to go through all options. Most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus8 or PiXel8 deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift. an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done. For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed. Options include: 1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face 2. Factite or Renuvion/J Plasma to tighten the lower face, jawline, and chin to reduce fat and give the jawline and neck tightening and shaping. 3. Botox to the masseter to reduce the muscular size of the jaw giving the face an illusion of being more slender 4. Fillers to the jawline, chin, cheeks, temples and brow help to shape the face and make it more angled and defined Always use at home derma rolling (see link to Emerageskin x anteageMD roller plus stem cells/hyaluronic acid ampules) and peels like emeragecosmetics enlighten or aerify that can be used to improve skin quality and tighten the skin while improving wrinkles, pigmentation, acne, and Melasma. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Facial Volume loss You are definitely not a candidate for a surgical facelift, what you are probably experiencing is some volume loss in your midface area, thats easily treatable with some cheek or midface fillers. You will notice that it will restore some of the volume loss in your midface and even lift and contour the lower face.

Answer: Options for "rounded face". Best way to improve facial proportions in younger patients. Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. You lower face is slightly wider as you have noted. In younger patients I would almost always suggest volume replacement / or volume augmentation in the cheeks (malar cheeks) / midface. This is often performed with hyaluronic acid fillers. If no improvement with a sufficient volume of filler injected in the midface, additional surgical procedure could be considered. Although, you do not have enough aging to require a lower facelift or necklift, as your question had suggested. Some surgeons may recommend buccal fat removal. Although, this would require an in person visit and thorough physical examination to determine whether you would be candidate for such an operation. Bottom line: consider midface / cheek fillers (such as Voluma) as the first step. I hope you find this information helpful. Kind regards! Dr. Harmych

Answer: ?Cheek Lift Hard to tell with your wide smile in all of the pictures, so a consultation is necessary. Your problem, according to your history seems to be in your mid-face, and a cheek lift might help. Other options are buccal fat removal, cheek implants, etc. Need better pictures and a consult, but it is doubtful that a facelift would be necessary.
