I had under eye / tear trough filler and botox performed in June 2022, not long after started seeing more hollowing, tyndall, increased wrinkles. Had to seek help other practitioner that did hyalase and botox (incl eye area) followed by three sessions of Sunekos to try to get my under eye area back to pre filler condition. However my under eye area hasn’t improved, significantly more hollow and wrinkles. What can I do to get back to how my under eye area looked before the tear trough?
Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Here are several options to consider to try to reverse the side effects you're experiencing First, it is important to note that the reversal of tear trough filler is a complex procedure that requires careful consideration and expertise from a qualified and experienced dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Additionally, results may vary depending on several factors, including the type of filler used, the technique applied during the original procedure, and the severity of the side effects. There are several options you could consider to try to reverse the side effects from the tear trough filler: Hyaluronidase: This is an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid, which is the main component of most dermal fillers. Hyaluronidase injections can dissolve the filler and help to restore the natural contours of the under eye area. Fat grafting: This procedure involves harvesting fat from another part of your body and injecting it into the under eye area to provide more volume and support. PDO Threads: PDO threads are absorbable sutures that can be used to lift the skin and stimulate collagen production. This treatment can help to reduce wrinkles and sagging skin in the under eye area. Laser resurfacing: Laser treatments can help to improve the texture and appearance of the skin by stimulating collagen production and reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Morpheus 8: We love using the powerful radiofrequency energy of Morpheus 8 for skin tightening. It’s a great option because the needle tips are insulated allowing us to control exactly where we need to place heat and energy. This allows for great results with fast recovery. It is important to consult with a qualified and experienced dermatologist or plastic surgeon to determine the best course of action for your specific case. They will be able to assess your condition and recommend an appropriate treatment plan based on your individual needs and goals. In conclusion, reversing the side effects from tear trough filler is a complex procedure that requires careful consideration and expertise from a qualified and experienced dermatologist or plastic surgeon. There are several options available, including hyaluronidase, fat grafting, PDO threads, laser resurfacing and Morpheus 8. We wish you the best of luck in finding a treatment plan that works for you.

Answer: Under eye laxity Hello! In my practices, we use AgeJET eye which uses advanced plasma therapy to tighten skin and improve this area with little to no downtime. This technology can treat all the way to the lash line and does not require ocular shields which would be needed in a laser treatment (CO2). Hope that helps!
