Skin around nipple dark and falling off after breast reduction. Will I lose the entire nipple? (Photo)

I am 1 week post op from breast reduction. The doctor noticed at my second post op dark colored skin on the areola. After doing multiple dressing changes with lots of bacitracin, the skin is now falling off. Will I loose the entire nipple? Will this cause no sensitivity to come back? I'm very concerned.

First you need to wait until you have stopped breast feeding for 3 to 6 months.  After you have stopped producing milk you can reassess your size and goals.
