I'm worried that the staining will be absorbed into the newly growing skin, side the wound is so deep. Also, he mentioned to me letting it dry out. From everything I've read, wounds should be kept moist to accelerate healing. Will I lock in the discoloration if I use ointment and dressings? Also, is this common practice...to use silver nitrate on cosmetic mole removal?! Will I scar worse? I fear I made a bad choice and am worse off. Any ideas how best to care for the wound?
