Is it safe to get a Brazilian Butt Lift if I have sinusitis?

Hello Docs: I know its not ideal to get a cosmetic surgery with a persisting infection of any kind but I thought I could get rid of it before my surgery which is in 5 months. I have had a sinus infection on and off for 2 years. I have had sinus surgery and it help for a while but the infection came back. I was just on antibiotics again which helped but I can tell the infection is still there because of my headaches. I have now learn to live with this, seems like its permanent now. what can I do

Since you have had a tummy tuck and a BBL the only position that you can rest would be your side. I would not rest on your backside. This will affect the fat grafts and your outcome. Please revisit patient positioning with your surgeon. Good luck. Dr.ES

This is an important question. Birth control pills can increase your risk for clotting especially in the first several months. I would discuss this issue at length with your gynecologist and plastic surgeon for specific recommendations tailored to you and the procedures performed.
