By 6 weeks after the surgery you should be able to do anything you want to do. Relax and enjoy your result. Sincerely, Dr Gartner
Brazilian Butt Lift recovery time is dependent on how the patient’s body reacts to the procedure. Patients usually return to work after a week but you should not sit without the use of cushions for at least two weeks and you must wear a compression garment for several weeks after the procedure. You should wait until at least 2 weeks after the procedure to engage in sexual activity. Swelling and discomfort normally fades at six weeks. After about a month you will be mostly healed and you can get a nice idea of the permanent results after around six months.
You should discuss this with your plastic surgeon for specific guidelines but most patients will sleep on their back about 2-4 weeks after surgery. The longer you can avoid pressure on the fat cells of the buttock, the more fat cells will likely survive. Best wishes, Dr.Bruno
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well.I recommend my patients to allow 2-4 weeks for recovery, and to wait at least 7-10 days before going back to work, but each doctor has their own protocol. By week 6 you should be able to live your normal life.Hope this is helpful. Good luck :)
The protocol each surgeon uses is different based on their experience and technique. However, in general, 3 weeks is my time line. But even after that I ask patients to try to minimize pressure for 6 weeks to improve cell viability.
When done correctly by a Brazilian Butt Lift specialist, you can obtain a very nice round shape. Some of this shape depends on what your buttock looks like before, as well as what you desire. Find a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in this procedure and look at his/her results.

It sounds like you still have postoperative swelling from either the liposuction or fat transfer site. All of the strategies you are trying including compression and lymphatic drainage massage will help but not completely resolve the problem. The edema will resolve over the next couple of...
Based on the pictures you submitted, I do not see much of a difference between the before and after pics. Your love handles are a little smaller. I can't appreciate much of a difference in your thighs. It is possible that you may still have some swelling that is making your...
