I fell on my back 4 weeks after Breast Augmentation. Should I be worried?

I was 4 weeks post op yesterday. I was out walking my small dog today and fell flat on my back. It happened so fast I quickly pushed my forearm/elbows out to brace the fall. Can this do damage?

If they look and feel fine, they are. You should follow up with you plastic surgeon for them to examine you to make sure.

If the incisions are intact and there is not real change in the shape of the breast, the implants are fine. Implants themselves are sturdy devices. The envelope can be expanded to three times its size in some.

Thank you for your question.  Sorry about for mishap! I can understand why you would be concerned.   An incident of falling, especially on your back, will not likely have any implications on your surgery.  Symptoms to look for that would indicate a problem would be increasing pain or size of the breast which would be related to a hematoma or bleeding within the breast pocket.   If you feel that you must be seen, I would suggest you call your surgeon.  Hope this helps.
