Waiting 6 weeks for invisalign refinements. Do I still have to wear this tray for 22 hours?

Iam waiting for refinements, it will take 6 weeks before the refinements arrive, and I already've weared this aligner for three weeks. Iam planning to party some the next six weeks, is it okay to leave the aligner out for 8 hours or something now and then. This aligner should just keep the teeth from moving.

Regular dental impressions taken with silicone impression material work just fine.  The doctor sends them in by UPS  and they are scanned by a fancy CT scanner in Texas to create the digital file.  Adds about two days to the process of getting your aligners and the impressions...

I am on the fence on this.  Would have to have a closer look.  Looks like very little wear  overall so lengthening and smoothing would not likely cause sensitivity.  Bonding on the edges of front teeth is not the most durable sort of dentistry.
