Do I have Orthodontist make my 2 Chipped Teeth Longer to avoid Bonding and polish away the chips?

Hi,I've had Invisalign for 1 1/2 years and am almost finished, it will be my choice. All my teeth are now straight BUT two have been chipped for some time.I'm told they can be bonded but they are small chips and the bonding will eventually come off. My Orthodontist wasn't encouraging the idea, but is willing to pull down the top chipped tooth to make its length longer so that my dentist can just polish away the chipped part and would also do the same for the bottom chipped tooth. Is this a wise thing to do?MY CONCERN IS: Will I risk permanent sensitivity by having my teeth made longer to avoid bonding? I know I have no nerve pain and discomfort now but do not want to have those teeth bonded and would like them to be more perfect and straight. In the photo you will see my teeth are not perfect, but the two teeth that bug me most are the two chipped ones:In the Photo, you can find the 1st chipped tooth being the bottom RIGHT tooth, you can see it's slant and that it's not even with the bottom left tooth. Also, in the Photo, you can find the 2nd chipped tooth being next to the top left front tooth. You can see it's a bit jagged and does not look smooth. What to do? Any recommendations? Am I lurking in territory I should not be in? Should I leave well enough alone?

Middline shift of that magnitude is very difficult, braces or invisalign. Took Tom Cruise something like three years in braces. ( Check Top Gun vs. now). To do that will require something like braces with headgear (Yuck!), extraction of a tooth or two ( Double yuck) or...
Most of my patients report little to no discomfort during their initial first weeks of treatment. However, everyone is different and everyone reacts differently to stresses. I would suggest giving it two more weeks. Wear your aligners as full time as possible.if you get past...
