Timing seems to be the worst for me. My surgery is in 3 days and my crown just broke, so did the tooth underneath. I'm sure going to need an extraction of the tooth and am going to need a bridge. How long after surgery should I get this taken care of? I met with the patient care coordinator but my doctor is out in Canada and she said that major dental work should be scheduled 6 months later! I don't know if an extraction is considered major... I don't want to be nearly toothless for 6 months. Help.

Answer: No problem with dental work right after mommy makeover.
If there is a functional problem, such as chronic skin changes due to excess skin, there is the possibility of Medicaid coverage. Most the time however it will not.
Thanks for sharing your question and your pictures. Sorry to hear you are having some problems. This is likely due to inflammation and perhaps superficial infection around a suture. You should call the surgeon who performed your procedure and notify him or her. They may want to see you in the...
I have done cosmetic surgery on several patients with MS without any problems. However, pre-operative clearance is mandatory from the neurologist and internist.
