Infectiin in mouth after rhinoplasty? Please help in pain

The irritation in the throat is most likely related to use of an endotracheal tube for anesthesia. If you are only five days after surgery, your nose is likely congested and would cause you to breathe with your mouth open when sleeping that could lead to a dry tongue and possible periods of apnea especially if you have an underlying history of sleep apnea. I am not convinced you have an infection, but your surgeon, who can examine your nose and throat, is in a better position to determine that.Best Wishes

It's difficult to determine the answer to your question without an examination. It is possible that some of your symptoms are related to mouth breathing at night, which can make your throat feel very dry, from post-nasal drip, which would be commonly related to postoperative swelling inside the nose, or just due to irritation from the breathing tube from surgery. Fever would be a bad sign of an infection, but is not necessary with every infection. Speak with your surgeon for more information.

Its hard to make any definitive statement without examining you in person or seeing pictures.  Its not abnormal for some mouth breathing after rhinoplasty and that can make your tongue feel dry.  Your uvula could have been irritated by the endotracheal tube and you noticed it on day 3.  Again, its best to contact your surgeon to express your concerns and get seen.All the best!
