Hello! I’m Lauren, the aesthetic injector here at Colorado Plastic Surgery Center. Yes, Volux by Allergan is designed specifically for jawline definition and many clients report noticeable, natural-looking results. It’s a thicker filler, great for adding structure. The price depends on location. Most people feel it's worth it if you're looking for a more sculpted jawline without surgery.
Volux was originally approved/designed for the jawline... so yes, it is good for improving jawline definition. Patients definitely like it. The cost is going to be variable depending on where you go so you will have to contact individual practices.
Hello Baz,Yes, Volux is an excellent filler for jawline definition. I have been using in my patients for the past year with excellent results. The cost in California will vary depending on who and where you choose to have your treatment. It will be more if you choose a double board certified facial plastic surgeon in their clinic for you injections, it will be less if you choose a nurse or aesthetician in the pop up spa in the strip mall. Given the recent problems with counterfeit Botox disasters, I would recommend carefully choosing who does your facial injections. As with sushi restaurants, it's not a good idea to go for the cheapest option when it comes to aesthetic treatments. Good luck and be well.Michael Persky, MDEncino, CA
Yes, Volux by Allergan is an excellent option for jawline definition. It’s a thicker, more cohesive hyaluronic acid-based filler specifically designed for sculpting and enhancing the jawline and lower face. Volux provides long-lasting, natural-looking results by restoring volume and creating a defined, contoured jawline. It’s particularly effective for clients looking to achieve more definition without the need for surgery. Many clients report being very satisfied with the improvement in the sharpness and structure of their jawline, and the results can last up to a year or longer. For the best and safest results, we recommend seeing a board-certified provider who specializes in facial aesthetics. They can assess your unique facial anatomy and ensure the treatment is tailored to your needs. In California, the cost can range from $800 to $1,500 per syringe, depending on the provider and location, but prices can vary.
Volux is an HA filler that is firm and meant to mimic bone to provide projection and structure where placed. Patients finds that it is suitable for areas like the jawline, gonial angle and pre jowl areas as it provides definition and support where placed. An in person consultation with an aesthetic specialist will provide you an accurate recommendation and pricing.Respectfully,Elena Gavilanes, MSPAP, M.EdPlastic Surgery PA-CE&G Aesthetic Institute
Hi @bazigosesl, I am a facial plastic surgeon and commonly inject fillers. Volux has the highest G prime which means it is the stiffest filler. It is specifically designed for jawline definition so it is a great choice for that. Best of luck, Dr. Ghazizadeh
Everyone has some asymmetry in facial features, some more prominent than others. As we age it may become more visible because of facial bone and volume loss. The good news is we can create significant balance in nearly all areas of the face with dermal fillers. In the jaw and chin, we...
Hi @LVok, I am a facial plastic surgeon and commonly perform chin implants. Yes filler can be injected over an implant however there is a risk of infection with introducing filler and this can seed your implant in the worst case scenario. I recommend a consultation with a plastic surgeon to see...
Thank you for your question. Looking at your profile pic, I believe you are an excellent candidate for Chin Augmentation, whether you do it with filler or a permanent implant. This will significantly improve your profile balance. Rhinoplasty would also help balance your profile, but I think...
