Chin asymmetry... how to treat? (Photo)

As I age (41), I'm seeing significantly more asymmetry in my lower face and especially chin/jaw. I was told as a teen that my jaw was crooked/misaligned but was never able to see it until recently. Wondering if there are any procedures that might improve the symmetry of my chin and strength of my jawline.

Everyone has some asymmetry in facial features, some more prominent than others. As we age it may become more visible because of facial bone and volume loss. The good news is we can create significant balance in nearly all areas of the face with dermal fillers. In the jaw and chin, we specifically like to use either Restylane Volux or Radiesse fillers. Both options will last a year or longer. A few treatments may be required to achieve the desired results.

Robust HA fillers have been safely and effectively used for years already for nonsurgically contouring the lower face, straightening and defining the jawline and increasing chin projection to establish greater harmony between the projections of the nose, lips and chin in profile. The results of these filler treatments are typically immediate, typically evoke a "Wow!" response and engender little to no significant downtime. Treatment of all three areas can be performed in one treatment session, if so desired, and in experienced hands should take less than 30 minutes to perform.
