Could I profit from chin filler (and maybe jaw filler) alone or should I consider a chin lipo for facial harmony? (photo)

Question

I have always considered my nose to be too large for my face, but I am not ready to undergo an invasive surgical procedure such as a rhinoplasty. I am considering getting chin filler to achieve more facial harmony. I am now 34 and my skin is starting to sag. Jowls are running in my family. So my question is: Would I profit from chin filler? Would you also recommend jaw fillers? Or should I get a chin lipo instead?

At least from the one photo provided, it would appear that the use of a robust HA volumizing filler for the chin would not only achieve a more aesthetic projection of the chin, but would better harmonize the projections of the chin and nose in profile view. In addition, augmenting chin projection in this way can secondarily help to tighten and better define the jawline, as well as diminish the submental laxity noted. If still necessary, additional robust HA filler can be used directly in the jawline to achieve greater jawline and submental definition  Lip filler may also be used, if desired, to better harmonize the projections of the lips with those of the nose and chin. You would be wise to consult  with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Thank you for your question.  Looking at your profile pic, I believe you are an excellent candidate for Chin Augmentation, whether you do it with filler or a permanent implant.   This will significantly improve your profile balance.  Rhinoplasty would also help balance your profile, but I think chin augmentation will look Great!  Liposuction of your neck below your chin, (people often refer to this as Chin Liposuction) is sometimes dramatic, especially if you have a lot of ft to remove.   In your case it will provide only a slight improvement because you don't have a lot of fat there to be removed.
