Most people heal 2-4 weeks. But 3 months post-op, I'm still very red where incisions were made. I'm 39, blonde, fair skin. No sun, fever, swelling, or infection. Blood tests normal. Dermatologist thinks it's small dilated blood vessels caused by trauma of surgery. Push finger on the redness & release, it becomes white for a second; that's due to the blood vessels. Says V-beam very precise: will clear redness but will not harm hair follicles. What do you think? Or... other treatment ideas? Thks!
