4 days post op lip lift, how can I to solve nostril irritation?

Hello aiutoSorry about this. I would advice you visit or contact your plastic surgeon about this concern.

I would stop the Neosporin as the neomycin within it can cause irritations in a fair number of patients.  You can use something like Aquaphor or Vaseline which will aid in moisturizing the wound such that it heals perfectly without the added irritation from the antibiotic.  Regardless, I would contact your operating doc as this is most likely the cause, but you want to make sure and check that there is nothing else going on.  Congratulations on your procedure! 

I would stop using Neosporin and start using something without an antibiotic like Aquaphor or Vaseline. Sometimes using Neosporin can irritate the incision. If this continues after that, it may mean that you have a slight colonization with a resistant bacteria in your nostrils called MRSA that is very common. I've never seen a full blown infection from this, but I often will give mupirocin ointment for lip lifts since it covers that bacteria and will help with irritation and inflammation.
