Got my 3rd microneedling session done, why is it dark , scabbing , right, swollen ? Did she do permanent damage to my skin?

I have senisitive skin. This would be my third session of microneedling that I’ve got done . The two times I got it , it was just red and healed in 2 days. But this time it looks scabby, bruised up , super tight . Did she damage my skin?? Will it heal up nicely ?? Will it permanently leave scars. ? What can I use to make it heal faster ? I’m on day 3. Today’s monday, I’ve got it done Friday morning .

Thanks for your question and posting a picture.  I'm sorry this happened to you.  While we offer microneedling, we rarely recommend it.  Like you have experienced, microneedling results CAN be unpredictable.  All of our other treatment options have very predictable results.
PicoSure Flat or FOCUS lens treatments should be able to take care of any hyperpigmentation easily with almost no risk.  FOCUS lens treatments have the extra benefit of reducing the underlying scar tissue.  This is one of our go to treatments for patients older than 40 and worried about the signs of aging.  This laser is safe for all skin types.  Start with sunscreen every day!  Once you have treated your hyperpigmentation to your satisfaction, you will probably need a follow treatment every 6 to 12 months depending your level of re-pigmentation.  Best of luck.
