Can mesotherapy with dermaroller be done with Botox?

Interesting question.  The BOTOX protein is too large to pass through the top layer of skin, or epidermis, on its own.  Could you open channels in the skin with dermal roller and allow Botox to penetrate through the skin to the muscles?  In theory, yes, but I can see a few drawbacks.
First, because some of the Botox would stay on the skin surface, the amount of Botox needed would be more than amount used when injecting directly.  Also, at this time, the ideal depth of penetration and number of holes to give reliable and reproducible results is not known.
Finally, I would not recommend using 2.5 or 3mm dermal roller around the eyes.  The skin is very thin.  Needles of that length would likely cause bruising.
