Loss of volume on forehead. What would be the best filler to add volume? (Photo)

In the right hands, well-placed Sculptra could give you great, natural-looking results. Keep in mind, it takes 3 to 6 months to see results with Sculptra. It's a great product for improving facial volume and collagen building, but for best results, I recommend using it in a combination depending on desired results. I typically combine Sculptra with other fillers, lasers, toxins and skin care to give immediate results. Thank you for your photo. The forehead skin tends to be thick and tight. Therefore, I prefer to use a stronger lifting filller such as VOLUMA to bring up the tissue and sustain a nice smooth appearance for a longer period of time up to and over a year. If you like the look, you can consider more permanent options such as fat grafting into that area. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your question.  There are many options for your forehead.  Juvederm or Vollure would give a smooth result.  Hard to say how much though.  Please see an experienced injector for a complete evaluation.

I would prefer to use a product such as Restylane Defyne.  It has a natural flex to it that prevents lumping or bumping in that area.  Should work quite well.

Thank you for your question and photos. Several types of dermal fillers can be used to help restore volume to this area. In my experience, products like reconstituted Juvederm, Voluma, Restylane Lyft, and even diluted Radiesse can be injected in small bolus amounts to improve volume loss in the forehead and symmetry in the upper 1/3 of the face. I recommend scheduling a consultation with an injector with experience treating the forehead area with dermal fillers to decide the best product to use. Hope this helps!

Fillers like Juvederm (eg Volift) are appropriate and allow you to judge the appearance. After determining that you prefer the change; one can achieve it permanently with a surgeon carved implant so that one does not need variation in the fillers year after year.
