What is the difference between Clatuu 360 and CoolSculpting? (photo)

Clatuu 360 and CoolSculpting are both body contouring devices that deliver controlled cooling (cryolipolysis) into isolated areas of fat to freeze fat cells so they can be eliminated by the body. Because fat freezes at a higher temperature than other body cells, you can eradicate the fat without damaging surrounding tissue. The process takes some time to take effect, as the body flushes the treated fat cells out of the body over time. 



CoolSculpting is the only cryolipolysis device currently approved by the FDA in the U.S. Most reputable, board-certified doctors in this country will only offer CoolSculpting. Clatuu has been used safely in other countries for some time but has not gained approval in the U.S. at this time. Rest assured that if you work with a doctor who is board certified and experienced using the CoolSculpting device, you should see very good and safe results from your procedure. 

Both of these machines are non-surgical methods of body contouring that use technology known as cryolipolysis to reduce the number of fat cells in the treatment area. Cryolipolysis is the process of delivering controlled cooling into the subcutaneous fat, which crystallizes the fat cells without damaging surrounding skin or tissue. The treated cells are flushed out of the body naturally, while the patient sees the treatment area shrink to a more attractive contour. 
While both machines work in a similar fashion, only one is approved by the FDA for use in the U.S. CoolSculpting is likely the only device you will find offered by reputable doctors in this country. While Clatuu 360 has been shown to be safe and effective in other countries, the lack of FDA approval prohibits most doctors from offering the device. Rest assured that if you find a board-certified doctor with extensive experience in the CoolSculpting procedure, you should see a very positive result. 

If you have small problem areas you can use non invasive methods like Coolsculpting with Vanquish or trusculpt iD to get small areas of fat reduced. Skin also tightens if you combine this with Exilis Ultra, Venus Legacy, and Inmode Forma/Contoura radiofrequency treatments. You boost the results from Coolsculpting if you add in Kybella injections to melt fat as well.  We often combine Coolsculpting with shock therapy like ZWave, EVIVE, and Cellutone to get even faster results, more improvement, and less risk of combinations like nodules, swelling, neuropathy or paradoxical hyperplasia.
