I just got an anatomical implant 2 days ago. My recovery over the last 2 nights has been great, but I haven’t been able to stay on my back through the night. When I wake up, I’m on my side, but not with a ton of pressure or anything on my chin or jaw line. Could this sleeping on my side have caused my implant to shift at all? If it shifted, is this something that I would know because there would be pain? I seem to be a bit more swollen on one side than the other. Am I just being a bit paranoid?

Answer: Will chin implant shift while sleeping the first couple of nights after surgery?
If you're unhappy with your final results after a chin implant you have 2 options:
1) Get a smaller implant 2) Have the implant removed
Temporary fillers can also be used to increase projection, if you have the implant removed.
I hope this helps.
Thanks for sharing your queries. Though anthropocentric measurements are made for the population there will be wide ranges. What is important is not the values but the ratios of lower face to rest of the face. From the photos you have an adequate chin projection. If you want to have a longer ...
I recommend following up with your Doctor. The soreness and redness you're experiencing may indicate an infection and your implant may need to be removed. The pixie ears can be improved with a minor procedure. I hope this helps!
