I'm looking to get botox to eliminate the "pebbly" appearance of my chin. My only concern is the long term effect of Botox use on the mentalis muscle. If the muscle atrophies over time with disuse, will that cause any physical changes in my chin - making it look droopy or anything of that sort?

Although theoretically one could become immune to Botox, in over 20 years of Botox use I have never seen immunity to it! You might want to try another doctor to inject it or consider using other Botox like products such as: Xeomin or Dysport.
