IPL was more than I expected-more uncomfortable, way more downtime, and finally more glowy results. My appointment started with a consultation I go over my skin concerns (sun damage, hyperpigmentation from acne, small broken capillaries), followed by a thick layer of numbing cream. I want sure how effective IPL would be, so I just wanted to do one treatment instead of immediately committing to a series. The NP performing the IPL was very knowledgeable and recommended a more aggressive approach since I just wanted one treatment. She did warn me that I would have “little red blotches” on my face for a while. The procedure itself hurt! It’s much worse than the “snapping rubber band” sensation some people compare it to. But it wasn’t intolerable. Afterward my face felt hot, like a sunburn...but looked like I had been attached by an octopus! The red/purple blotches seemed to be worse in areas where she had treated me for capillaries. They were almost impossible to cover with makeup too. Despite all that, the results speak for themselves. I absolutely loved my skin about 2.5-3 weeks later! I plan to do another treatment as needed.
I saw Sommer for melasma and uneven skin tone do to sun damage. Treatment was painless and results are awesome. My face looks 80 % percent better with just one IPL treatment. I will be doing my second one soon. I highly recommend this treatment for rosacea and broken blood vessels can also be treated at this location in Fort Worth.
Thank you for your question, There are no known infections from Sculptra, H.A fillers or Botox reported post hip replacement surgery. You can proceed forward with treatment as soon as you feel ready. If you are concerned schedule a consultation with the person doing your injections to ease your mind. Take care!
Injecting any neuromodulator like Botox, Dysport, Xeomin or etc... is a great treatment choice for pebbly chin. It gives patients a great and predictable outcome. There is no worry about your muscle atrophying in a negative way that would cause your tissue to become droopy or saggy. Repeated injections will either be spaced out further as your results start to last longer due to muscle inactivity, or we can keep your visits closer together and just use less medicine to achieve the same results. Take care!
Thank you for your question. Bruising and swelling is the most common issue post filler injection. Any OTC bruise cream will help expedite the healing. There is definitely no cause for concern. The results are well worth it. Take care!
Yes, you can still receive Laser Hair Removal in the Brazilian with a piecering. We would cover it for you during treatment. You would not need to worry about a thing.
