At under 30 or so years of age, I will not in most cases do any grafting into the crown.  Fortunately you have minimal to no hair loss, but medical therapy may be indicated-  something to discuss with a hair loss expert who not only does transplants but also understands hair loss.

That is not a hair loss because of ongoing process of androgenetic alopecia .I haven't seen any hair problem on your photo, there is no reason for worrying for hair loss.

There my be some early thinning- hard to say without previous photos for comparison.  However, with a family history of hair loss and your concerns, it would not be a bad idea to meet with a hair loss specialist to discuss options to maintain your hair and prevent subsequent loss. 

If it is thinning, it's very early on in the process. Of course, there's no way to know 100% without seeing any 'before' shots, so if you are concerned just watch the area and in a few more months take more pictures to see if you can see a noticeable difference, and/or visit a specialist who can measure the density in around that area to see if it seems low.

Hi.  Thanks for the question.  Unfortunately, no one can predict if and how much hair loss you will have in the future.  In my opinion it's early and you should wait to see what happens.  There are options for you.   One being a procedure called Neografting which  produce excellent results.  Good Luck! 

Your biggest enemy is the progressive thinning leading to a balding pattern that is not evident at this point in time. The degree of thinning that you are experiencing would suggest that you should see a doctor who most likely will get Bulk Measurements of your hair to determine the degree of the thinning that you are presently having. If the diagnosis is early genetic hair loss (the most common cause of hair loss in young men), then the best treatment would be the drug finasteride which is highly effective in men of your age and may not only stop the hair loss but possibly reverse it. If you are developing a more advanced balding pattern the best test to get will determine the Bulk Measurements of your hair and this will show, over a one-year time frame, how effective the treatment will be. Once you know this information, then you and your doctor need to develop a MASTER PLAN which will define what you need to do over the years to come. Visit our office and get this process started.
